Product Information:

This Kato EMD SD70ACe is based on units in service from coast to coast since the 2004. This standard DC locomotive features a five-pole motor with dual flywheels, directional LED headlights, highly detailed body, wheel profiles for operation on Code 55 and larger rail, great decoration and Kato knuckle couplers.

It can be converted to DCC operation by changing out the lighting board with a DCC decoder of your choice (sold separately). The EMD SD70ACe will be at home on the head end of your railroad’s 2000s and later freight consists.
